FAQ
What is Suhbah School?
Suhbah School is an online learning platform designed to provide engaging education for Muslim children. Our goal is to nurture confident, curious learners who are grounded in Islamic values while developing strong academic and social skills.
What Subjects do you offer?
We offer a variety of subjects including Qur’an, Islamic Studies, Arabic, English, Math, and Science. We also include enrichment programs such as Art, Nature Studies, and Character Development inspired by Islamic teachings.
Who are the teachers?
Our teachers are passionate Muslim educators who share Suhbah School’s vision of holistic, values-based learning. Every teacher is trained in online teaching best practices when is comes to the whole child, their fitrah, and developmental needs of their age as well as child safety standards.
What age groups do you serve?
Currently, Suhbah School offers live classes for children ages 4 to 16.
How are the classes conducted?
All classes are held live on Zoom in small groups to ensure personal attention and interactive learning. Lessons are designed to be engaging, visual, and hands-on — not just screen time.
How do you keep children safe online?
We prioritize child safety and privacy. Teachers never ask for personal information such as last names, addresses, or photos. Parents are encouraged to supervise sessions and communicate directly through the parent portal. We also do not collect any child information, the parent makes an account and selects the classes for their child/children. Once it's class time, the parents signs their child in.
How do we join the class?
After you sign up, the class waits in your Suhbah parent account. At class time, sign in, open the class and join the live Zoom session with your child. Children don't need their own accounts.
Are the intro classes really free?
Yes. Each intro class is a one-time live class, and it's completely free. You create a free parent account to save your child's seat, and no card is needed. If your child loves it, our weekly classes start at $10 per session, and you can cancel anytime.
